Dynamic Drums - What's that ?

All drum sounds of the PS02 use only one sample per instrument. E.g. there is one sample of a short hihat sound.
This sound will be in low or high volume according to the drum pattern you use.

A real drum set works and sounds different !

If you hit a hihat soft or hard not only the level is changing - also the SOUND itself.
That's why most drum machines sound boring and artificial.

Here is the solution: The new Dynamic Drums for the PS02 use 8 different hihat samples. One for very soft hits, one for a little bit louder ones and so on.
The same is true for the snare drum (8 samples) and for most other instruments.

What can I do with the new Sounds?

You can replace the original sample sounds provided by Zoom with high quality new drum, bass, organ, strings, piano.... sounds.

Use the new sounds with the original patterns and songs. Use the new sounds to build better patterns with the PS02PatternEditor (2*crash, 2*ride,...).

You can load both sounds (the original provided by Zoom) and the new ones (provided by Soundside) at the same time into your PS02.

What will I get after the purchase?

-Unlimited access to download all existing and future Drums&Bass sound library files.

-A personal password to download this files.

-A windows tool (PS02SampleLock) to convert this sound libraries to PS02 'sounds.syn' files (for use with the PS02).
