Vetta L6Edit Mod

Some people asked to use L6Edit with my upgrades.
The factory version of L6Edit did work fine with my upgrades - but does not show the additional DI & CAB models.

If you like to use the additional DI & CAB models - here is the solution:

You need this:
A. Line6Edit 2.05 or Line6Edit 2.03

B. Some upgraded Java classes - dowload the right files your Line6Edit version:
<Click here to download the files for Line6Edit2.05>
<Click here to download the files for Line6Edit2.03>

C. A tool to replace some .class in a Java archives (.jar)
If you don't know how to do this - download this tool:
< Click here to download the Java archive toolkit >

How to use this ?

1. Make a backup of the factory Java container 'Line 6 Edit.jar'
    (found in your Line6-Edit folder)

2. Unzip the classes from step B above.
Note: There are different downloads for Line6Edit 2.03 and Line6Edit2.05 !
(After unzipping should you get 3 .class files)

2. Download and install the tugzip toolkit (see above)

3. After the first start of the tool - you will be asked for the file types you like to open with this tool.
    Check 'Java archives'

4. In the top right window select and double click the file 'Line 6 Edit.jar' (found in your Line6-Edit folder).
Now all files included in this Java archive are shown in the bottom right window.

5. Select the files 'L6AssetDefs.class', 'L6AssetsWrapper.class', 'L6Vetta2PatchFormat.class' one after another and remove them (right click - delete)

6. Drag and drop the new .class files (same name) you unzipped in step 2 into the bottom right window.

7. Close the tool

8. Start L6Edit - you will see 'All real names', all new DI-models, all new CAB-models
(you can't use the new DI or CAB models without my upgrades)

Note all this information and tools are provided for free - and without any warranty - and it may only work with this Version of L6Edit.
